The 8th Indian Ocean Conference (IOC 2025), held on 16–17 February in Muscat, Oman, brought together leaders from 60+ nations under the theme “Voyage to New Horizons of Maritime Partnership.” The forum focused on strengthening maritime security, trade connectivity, and sustainable blue growth, reaffirming regional cooperation under India’s SAGAR vision.

Inspired by the spirit of the sea, our moodboard captures the timeless elegance of Omani dhows sailing across digital waves, a fusion of tradition, depth, and forward motion.
Concept Development
Building upon the visual direction established in the moodboard, we began translating ideas into rough sketches — exploring how the dhow, waves, and horizon could coexist within a single visual story. Each sketch focused on composition, depth, and flow — balancing movement and stillness to reflect the spirit of a maritime journey.

What began as simple pencil lines evolved into a living ocean waves in motion, dhows in dialogue, and light guiding the journey ahead. The transition from sketch to screen marked the moment when concept met experience.

Strategic Implementation

Our approach began with establishing core brand elements - typography, layouts, and color schemes - creating a strong foundation for the identity system. This traditional groundwork was crucial for ensuring AI integration would enhance rather than overshadow the theme.
